Why LONO Hollywood partnered with Yelp to add reservations

Austin, co-owner of LONO Hollywood talks about why he loves Yelp Reservations and how it helps him and his LA restaurant.

LONO Hollywood is one of three bar-restaurants owned by Umbrella Hospitality Group that are based on Prohibition concepts. LONO Hollywood pays homage to the fact that the first tiki bar in the world, which also invented the Zombie cocktail, was on Hollywood Boulevard.

When potential customers find LONO Hollywood on Yelp, Austin now knows that they can make a reservation right on Yelp. LONO Hollywood had other reservation systems before Yelp Reservations. They found that more customers coming into the restaurant resulted in more fees. With Yelp Reservations, Austin pays a flat rate. He also gets to communicate with a Yelp representative, who gives advice and feedback.
