How do Showcase Ads work?

Showcase Ads are a type of CPC campaign that is run on Yelp. These ads allow an advertiser to highlight an offer, product, service, or deal on Yelp business listings. You will be able to supply custom creative – image and text – and direct consumers to a specific call-to-action. There are 2 main placements of the Showcase Ad that can drive paid ad clicks:

1. Search results page
2. Competitor pages

While Showcase Ads are discovered in search results and on competitor pages, Showcase’s offer message is also featured in a carousel on your Yelp Business Page for the duration of the campaign with no cost for a user to click.

At the heart of the Showcase Ads experience is a detailed offer page that provides a full screen view of the Showcase offer and can be accessed by clicking on the offer message in search, in the feature on your Yelp Business Page, and through certain CTAs.

Can I use Showcase Ads if I don’t have a storefront or Yelp Business Page?

Yes! If you have a product or service that is available at businesses on Yelp, but don’t have a storefront that can support a Yelp Business Page, we can leverage a Co-Branded feature within the Showcase Ads product. Here, if you have an offer relevant to a storefront with a Business Page on Yelp, you can promote your offer in conjunction with that Business’s locations. In this case, the format of Showcase Ads is entirely the same, the Showcase offer message will just be from a different brand than the Yelp Business it is promoted on.
